NEUROLOGIST • BRAIN HEALTH EDUCATOR •
HEADACHE SPECIALIST

I’m Dr. Suraj Malhan, a neurologist, educator, and digital health creator passionate about making neuroscience, brain health, and modern medicine easier to understand.

While I specialize clinically in headache and facial pain disorders, my broader mission is to educate people on the brain, cognition, migraine, sleep, stress, neuroplasticity, wellness, and the future of healthcare through evidence based content and compassionate care.

As a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), I incorporate Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) into patient care, particularly for cervicogenic headache and musculoskeletal contributors to pain.

Through MyHeadacheGuru, I share research backed insights on neurology, brain health, migraine, dementia risk reduction, lifestyle medicine, AI, and emerging healthcare technology to help make complex medical topics practical, understandable, and accessible.

Trusted by a global audience of over 500,000 cross social media and digital platforms for evidence based neurology and brain health education.

Why i do this

Dr. Suraj Malhan, DO, smiling outdoors in a black shirt with palm trees in the background — representing a calm, approachable presence as a headache and facial pain specialist.

Neurological symptoms can be invisible, overwhelming, and deeply misunderstood, but for the people living with them, they are life-changing.

I chose neurology because I believe patients deserve more than rushed visits and confusing answers. They deserve to feel heard, understood, and empowered.

As a fellowship-trained headache specialist, I’ve seen how transformative the right diagnosis, treatment plan, and support system can be, especially for people who’ve spent years being dismissed.

But my mission has grown beyond the clinic.

Through digital education, social media, and emerging technology, I want to help make neuroscience and brain health understandable to everyone, not just people with medical training.

I believe the future of medicine will combine compassionate care, evidence-based science, technology, and accessible education. Helping people take a more active role in their health.

Whether you're navigating migraine, brain fog, facial pain, or simply trying to better understand your brain, you're not alone.
